The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). It is held for students seeking admission to undergraduate courses such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Nursing and other professional programs in colleges across Karnataka. KCET provides eligible candidates with a fair and transparent pathway to secure seats in government and private institutions within the state.
As per Government Order No. MED 51 RGU 2023 dated 13-04-2023, candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) must register for CET-2025 through the KEA online portal and appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by KEA in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).

Important Note: Non-Karnataka candidates are not eligible for reservation and are also not eligible for Government quota seats in B.Sc. (Nursing) admissions through KEA.
| The non-Karnataka candidates who are registering for B.Sc. (Nursing) courses will be assigned clause ‘y’ in the application form. Further they are not eligible for any other UGCET courses other than B.Sc. (Nursing). |
