CRITERIA OF ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:
Nativity: Only Indian citizens are eligible for admission to professional courses unless otherwise notified. Holders of Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cards/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) will also be treated at par with Indian citizens for the limited purpose of admission. However, PIO/OCI candidates will not be eligible for any kind of reservation Candidates seeking admission to the courses will be categorized as ‘Keralite’, Non- Keralite category I (NK-I) and Non-Keralite category II (NK-II).
Keralite: A candidate of Kerala origin will be categorized as a ‘Keralite’. Children of All India Service (AIS) officers (Non-Keralites) allotted to Kerala cadre are deemed to be ‘Keralites’ as per G.O. (Rt) No.822/08/H.Edn dated 29.05.2008. But they will not be eligible for Communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation.
Non-Keralite Category I (NK I):A candidate who is not of Kerala origin shall be classified as Non-Keralite Category I (NK-I) if he or she satisfies any one of the following conditions: the candidate has completed the qualifying course in Kerala and is the son or daughter of non-Keralite parents belonging to the Government of India or Defence Services who are posted in Kerala; or the candidate has completed the qualifying course in Kerala and is the son or daughter of non-Keralite parents who are serving or have served the Government of Kerala for a minimum period of two years; or the candidate, though not of Kerala origin, has been a resident of Kerala for a continuous or cumulative period of five years within the last twelve years of study; or the candidate has undergone school education in Kerala from Standard VIII to XII. Candidates under Non-Keralite Category I shall be considered only against State Merit seats and shall not be eligible for any communal, special, or persons with disabilities reservations, nor for any fee concession.
Non-Keralite Category II [NK II]: Candidates who do not come under ‘Keralite’ or 'Non-Keralite Category I' will be categorized as ‘Non-Keralite Category II'. They will not be eligible for Communal/Special/Persons with Disabilities reservation or any fee concession.
Note: Candidates to be admitted in respect of seats reserved for the nominees of Union Territorie.
HOW TO APPLY:-
Applications for admission to all courses (BSc Nursing and Allied Health Science Degree courses) must be submitted online through a single application. The online application facility is available at www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in. Submission of more than one application by a candidate will result in the rejection of their candidature.
Application fee :- The application fee will be as follows: A candidate who does not belong to SC/ST communities will be treated as ‘General’ candidate for the collection of application fee.

| Step 1: Registration:- All the basic information, required in the application is to be filled in at this step. Candidate should click the button “New Registration”. The personal details of the candidates have to be filled in the page thus obtained. It is obligatory that the candidate should fill all the items in the registration stage. Category of the candidate (Whether SC/ST or General) needs to be specified here. As per the category, the application fee payable will be displayed and the candidate can proceed to the next step. If the data is filled completely, click the Save and Continue button to complete the registration process. The next page will display the application fee and applicant’s details. After confirming that all the information provided is true and correct, the candidate can proceed to the next step. |
Step 2: Fee payment :- At this step, the candidate has to make the payment of application fee by way of online payment or by way of Challan. Select the Mode of Payment:

| Step 3: Application Entry:- A registration ID will be provided to the candidate. Candidate should note this Registration Id and password which are required for future login. Candidate should keep them confidential. All the information required in the application is to be filled in at this step. Before filling the details, read the Prospectus carefully. The data provided here will be used for processing the application. Any mistake in filling this sheet or providing false/incomplete/wrong information will affect the candidate’s eligibility for admission or claim for reservation under any category. The candidate should fill all the remaining items in the application entry stage including academic data. The facility to upload the corresponding certificate/document in respect of claims if any will be available against each entry in the application. The Candidate shall click the corresponding button and upload the files. A recent passport size photograph of the candidate and Signature of the candidate, all in jpeg format of given specifications are to be uploaded (Refer Annexure VIII for guidelines). In addition all the certificates and documents in support of the various claims (communal reservation, fee concession etc.) made in the application should be uploaded. Nativity proof, proofs of date of birth and mark list of qualifying examination are mandatory. |
| Step 4: Final Confirmation and Print Application:- After completing step 3, the candidate can preview the application before confirmation and submission. After Preview the candidate has to accept the declaration and make final submission. The facility to accept the declaration (Tick box) will be enabled only if all the mandatory fields are filled and uploading of supporting documents and images are completed. Candidate should then take a printout of the Application for future references. After the candidate has made final confirmation, an Acknowledgement Slip will be generated and displayed, which can be printed. This will contain the Acknowledgement Reference Number and Date. The Candidate must note down the Acknowledgement Reference Number and Date for future queries. Application should be complete in all respects. A candidate will be considered eligible for positioning in the Rank list, only if he/she has satisfied the eligibility conditions prescribed in the Prospectus, under any category. Do not send the printout of the Application Form and supporting documents to the Office of Director, LBS Centre by post /e-mail/ in person. Candidates are liable to produce all the original documents at the time of admission at the concerned allotted institution. |
CENTRALISED ALLOTMENT PROCESS: All the seats in Government Colleges, all the seats in Self Financing Colleges run by Government controlled autonomous bodies, ‘Government Seats’ in Private Self Financing Colleges and the Management Seats in Private Self Financing Colleges (applicable to those colleges that have surrendered the seats termed as Management Seats), for which the allotment is to be made by the Director, LBS Centre for Science & Technology through a Centralized Allotment Process, will be done through a Single Window System (SWS).The allotment to various colleges and courses -B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. (M.L.T), B.Sc Perfusion Technology, B.Sc. (Optometry), B.P.T, B.A.S.L.P, B.C.V.T., B.Sc. Dialysis Technology, BOT, Bachelor of Medical Imaging Technology, Bachelor of Radio Therapy Technology, Bachelor of Neuro Technology, Bachelor of Nuclear Medicine, B.Sc Medical Biochemistry, Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics and also other new courses (if applicable) subject to the approval of the Government /KUHS for the academic year 2025 will be done by the Director, LBS Centre. The allotments will be strictly based on the options exercised by the candidate, the rank lists prepared by the Director LBS Centre, eligible reservation(s) of the candidate and availability of seats.
Note: Candidates are advised to visit the website www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in and keep a constant watch on the leading print and electronic media pertaining to notifications/instructions regarding allotment.
POST ALLOTMENT ACTIVITIES:
Reporting at the College: Candidates need to report for admission before the Principal/Head of the institution concerned only when the announcement regarding the same is made by the Director LBS Centre. Principal/Head of the Institution will be personally responsible for verification of eligibility condition as prescribed in the Prospectus, when the candidate reports for admission. Only those candidates who are found to be qualified as prescribed shall be admitted to the college/institution irrespective of the fact that he/she has an allotment through the CAP.
He/she should report with the originals of the following documents:

Verification of Documents: The Principal/Head of the College or Institution shall be personally responsible for verification of original documents and satisfaction of the correctness of the records produced by the candidate at the time of seeking admission in the college/institution. The University concerned shall also verify documents that got admission to various colleges in the manner prescribed by the University.
Eligibility criteria: Candidates seeking admission must have passed a regular Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree from Kerala University, Calicut University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Cochin University, Kannur University, Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), or any other university recognized by KUHS. Eligibility requires a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree. Candidates applying on the basis of a Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing qualification must have completed the course after acquiring General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with +2 Science subjects. Degrees obtained through distance education or correspondence mode are not eligible for admission to the M.Sc. Nursing programme.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:-
Nativity: Indian citizens of Kerala origin are eligible for admission. Candidates who are sons or daughters of non-Keralite parents but have obtained a B.Sc. Nursing degree from any nursing college in Kerala are also eligible; however, they shall not be entitled to any communal or Persons with Disabilities (PwD) reservation benefits. Additionally, candidates who are not of Kerala origin but have been continuous residents of Kerala for a minimum period of five years are eligible for admission, subject to the condition that they shall not be eligible for any communal or PwD reservation benefits.

Centralized Allotment Process (CAP): The Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) will be done online to give allotment to the PG Nursing courses under General and Service quotas. Candidates will be allowed to exercise their option for individual specialties /colleges as per their ranks in the entrance examination for admission to PG Nursing courses-2025 conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The allotment of courses/colleges for the General Merit and reservation categories will be strictly in accordance with the rank list and category lists.
Mop-Up Counseling: The Mop-Up Counseling, which does not form part of the regular counseling process, may be conducted after the completion of the centralized allotment to fill any remaining vacant seats. Candidates included in the Rank List or Category Lists prepared as per Clause 11 of the Prospectus for Admission to PG Nursing Courses 2025 are eligible to participate in the Mop-Up Counseling. However, candidates who have secured admission to Government merit seats in any Government Nursing College in Kerala shall not be eligible to attend the Mop-Up Counseling for the same specialty in other Government Nursing Colleges. Similarly, candidates admitted under Government merit seats in Self-Financing Nursing Colleges shall not be eligible to participate in the Mop-Up Counseling for the same subject in other Self-Financing Nursing Colleges. Nevertheless, candidates admitted to Government merit seats in Self-Financing Nursing Colleges are permitted to seek admission to the same or a different subject in Government Nursing Colleges through the Mop-Up Counseling process.
Procedure for applying online:- All candidates (including Service Quota) seeking admission to the course should apply online through the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
Five steps for applying online: There are 5 steps for the online submission of application and all the steps are mandatory. Candidates should complete all steps and the candidates are advised to keep a softcopy or printout of the application acknowledgement page of the application for future reference. For the online submission of application, candidate has to visit the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in where he/she can find the link “PG Nursing 2025 - Online Application”.

| Step 3: Pay Application Fee : The application fee for General candidates is Rs. 1100/- (Rupees One Thousand and one hundred only) and in the case of SC/ST candidates and those eligible for SC/ST benefits as per G.O (Ms) No.25/05/SCSTDD dated 20.06.2005 is Rs. 550/- (Rupees Five Hundred and fifty only). Service candidate seeking admission in General Quota also, should pay extra amount of Rs. 1100/- (Rupees One Thousand and one hundred only). Applications can be submitted in online mode only, and all the supporting documents are to be uploaded only. At this step, the candidate has to make the payment of application fee by way of Online Payment. The Application fee can be paid through the online payment gateway. Those having an Internet banking account, Credit card or Debit card can make use of this feature. Candidates availing this facility should read and follow each of the instructions given in the website carefully in order to ensure that the payment is successful. On successful payment, the candidate will be guided back to the home page wherein he/she will find the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab at the top turned green and the candidate can proceed (next step) to uploading of photograph, signature and supporting documents. If the payment transaction was unsuccessful, a message to that effect will be displayed on the screen and the candidate can navigate to the homepage. On the other hand, if the candidate fails to receive the final confirmation (success or failure) message and is uncertain about the outcome of the transaction, due to communication failure or otherwise, he/she can relogin to the home page and inspect the ‘Pay Application Fee’ tab at the top to see if it’s green or not. If it has not turned green, the payment has not succeeded and the candidate may try for online payment afresh .If the candidate’s account is debited for an unsuccessful transaction, the amount will be reverted to his/her account within 10 - 12 working days. |

Step 5: Print Application Acknowledgement Page: After completing the uploading of all necessary certificates/documents, candidates can take a printout of the Application Acknowledgement Page of the application and the uploaded documents by clicking on the link ‘Application Acknowledgement Page’. Candidates are advised to keep a soft copy or printout of the application for future reference. Printout of the Application Acknowledgement Page or any supporting document should not be sent to the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. For Service Quota Candidates: - The Service Quota candidate should send the printout of the Application Acknowledgement Page along with the following documents to the Controlling Officer concerned (DME/DHS/IMS) by registered post/speed post/hand delivery on or before the last date and time notified by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
