Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conduct counselling for GNM Nursing in Karnataka

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). It is held for students seeking admission to undergraduate courses such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Nursing and other professional programs in colleges across Karnataka. GNM Nursing:

Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for admission to the GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course generally require candidates to have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with English as a compulsory subject from a recognized board, securing at least 40% aggregate marks (some institutions may require 45%). Candidates must be between 17 and 35 years of age as on 31st December of the admission year. While Science stream candidates are preferred, applicants from Arts, Commerce, or other recognized streams may also be considered as per institutional or state regulations. Candidates should also be medically fit to pursue the course.
