B.C.M. College of Nursing was established in 1990 by Rev. Fr. Gerard Perazzini, O.F.M. Cap, and is managed by the Society of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, North Indian Province. Since 1906, the Society has been dedicated to serving the needy, especially the underprivileged and marginalized, with a special focus on healthcare. Inspired by its congregational charism and mission, the institution strives to bring healing and hope where there is illness and suffering. The college envisions a transformed society by collaborating with institutional and community health services through quality curative care, empowerment, and education. Rooted in its Catholic tradition, the institution continues the healing ministry of Jesus Christ, ensuring that every patient is treated with dignity, compassion, and sensitivity. The BCM School of Nursing began its academic journey in March 1990 in response to the pressing need to uplift the dignity of women, enhance the standards of the nursing profession, and address the shortage of qualified nursing personnel in North India. The school is owned and administered by the Northern Society of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. It is officially recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and the Uttar Pradesh State Nursing Council, reflecting its commitment to excellence in nursing education and professional training.
