College Of Nursing, Army Hospital Research & Referral

Army Hospital (Research And Referral), also known as Army Hospital (R&R), AH (R&R) and RR Hospital, is the apex flagship medical care Centre for the armed forces of India. Completed in the mid 1990s, the hospital, which includes a teaching hospital and nursing college, is located in Delhi Cantonment, New Delhi. It is the only Armed Forces Medical Services hospital to be commanded by a Lieutenant General rank officer and provides for 27 sub-specialties. Nursing students from College of Nursing, Army Hospital (R&R) are commissioned into the Military Nursing Service (MNS) as lieutenants. After being posted into the MNS, the lieutenants would go on to be posted across the nation in various Armed Forces Hospitals. This College is affiliated to University of Delhi and recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Delhi Nursing Council.

Admission criteria for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing:

MINIMUM CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY FOR REGISTRATION:

1. Age: - The Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2025. The candidates completing the age of 17 years on 1st January 2026 or later will not be eligible. The upper age limit is 35 years as on 31/12/2025 further provided that this upper age limit is relaxed by a period of five years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
2. Qualifying Examination: - A candidate seeking admission to First year B. Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Course must have passed Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by CBSE/Council of the Indian School Certificate Examination (12years course) from a recognized school or an examination recognized as equivalent to, with 50% or more marks in the aggregate of 4 subjects 5 including English (Core/Elective), Physics, Chemistry and Biology, provided the student has passed in each subject separately.
3. Only women candidates are eligible for the course.
4. The criterion for deciding the region of the candidate for B. Sc. (Hons.) Nursing course 2025, (who have passed/appeared in the Senior School Certificate Examination or an examination recognized as equivalent to, through Patrachar/ Correspondence /Open School) will be the location of the school. The candidate must have got herself registered with any school for the purpose.

BASIS OF SELECTION: Admission for the B.Sc(Hons) Nursing Course for the year 2025-2026 is in process. In this regard it is informed that admission to B.Sc (Hons) Nursing Course would be through MCC Counselling. Information bulletin and other information related to admission will be published on college website www.abconlnhdu.com MCC Link- mcc.nic.in

Candidates are admitted to B.Sc (Hons) Nursing course on the basis of NEET ( UG) exam 2025 and MCC counselling for the course.

TOTAL NUMBER OF SANCTIONED SEATS: 40 (Forty)

The total seats earmarked for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing Course shall be allocated region-wise as follows:

1. Delhi Region (85%) - For students passing from School located in the Union Territory of Delhi. The student must have studied 11th and 12th class from a recognized school with in the national capital territory of Delhi.
2. Outside Delhi Region (15%) - For students passing from schools/Colleges and Institutions situated outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Certificates not submitted with the application form, the same may be submitted at the time of counselling.

NOTE :

1. Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing Course should apply on the application form supplied by the college office. Application form of previous years will not be entertained. Application form for the recent session will be downloaded from college website (www.rakcon.com) should be submitted with a Demand draft of Rs.550/- in favour of ‘Principal, Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing’ payable at New Delhi. Filled Application Form to be submitted in the college office by hand or by post.
2. Candidate must have passed in all the required subjects separately (in Theory and Practical) required for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing course before the last date prescribed for submission of the Mark-sheet.
3. In case the information furnished or certificates etc. submitted are found to be false, or the candidate is found to have withheld or concealed information in her application form, she shall be removed from the college rolls and fee deposited by her shall be forfeited.
4. The applicants are required to fill up the admission ticket.
5. Once application form is submitted, no alteration will be allowed.
6. Notification regarding counseling will also be displayed on college notice board & website.
7. At the time of counseling / allotment of seats for the B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing course, the candidates shall bring the following documents in original:
   1. Class X Board Examination Certificate.
   2. Class XII Marks-Sheet.
   3. Class XII Provisional Certificate/Original Certificate.
   4. Character Certificate (recent)
   5. SC/ST Certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by the competent authority.
   6. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the Candidate) issued by competent authority.
   7. Transfer Certificate from school/college as well as Migration Certificate from Board/University are required from those students who have passed senior secondary exam from outside Delhi.

   9. Three Passport size photographs as pasted on the application form / Admit card.
   10. Candidates seeking admission against reserved seats for Physically Handicapped would be required to bring with them the original Medical Certificate issued to them by an authorized Medical Board.
   11. Candidates seeking admission against reserved seats for wards of Ex-Servicemen are required to bring the original certificate issued by the competent authority as per university guidelines.
   12. No candidates will be allowed to attend the counseling without original certificates.

Note :Copy of self-attested above mentioned document is to be submitted.

8. All admissions are subject to verification of authenticity of the original certificates / documents of the candidates. The decision of the admission committee regarding the eligibility of any applicant shall be final.

9. The candidates shall be required to complete the admission formalities including deposition of the required fees on the same day of counseling. Those who fail to complete the formalities and do not deposit their fee on the same day of counseling will lose their claim for the admission in the course. (Refer page nos. 24 & 25 for the detail of fee)

10. Every student admitted to the College shall be required to sign a declaration that on admission she submits herself to the disciplinary jurisdiction of Vice-Chancellor and other authorities of the university and college who may be vested with the authority, the Ordinances and rules that have been framed there under by the University/College. Failure by parents/guardians/students to acquaint themselves with the rules of the College and of the University of Delhi will not be entertained as a defence for breach of rules. (Refer Page 26-31).

11. Candidates are allowed to submit self-attested Certificates except photographs.

12. The College does not take any responsibility for postal delays/losses.
