UP Nursing Admission Important Dates 2024

B.Sc. Nursing Course (4 Years)

Examination Fee:- Candidates for the entrance test will have to pay a fee of Rs.3000/- for Unreserved/Other Backward Classes (UR/OBC) and Rs.2000/- for SC/ST/PwD.

Eligibility Criteria Age: -

1. Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2024.
2. The maximum age limit for admission is 35 years for Unreserved (UR), OBC, EWS, SC and ST, however the maximum age for candidates with Physical Disability (PD/PwD) will be 40 years. (As per INC regulation).

Minimum qualifications for admission are as per INC Regulation: -

1. Candidates with Science who have passed qualifying 12thStandard examination (10+2)and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
2. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40% instead of 45% for General Category candidates.
3. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission in B.Sc. Nursing.
4. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by central government having Science subjects and English only.
5. Color Blind candidates are eligible provided that color corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
6. The selection of candidates will be subject to medical fitness. No selected candidate will be permitted to join the course unless declared medically fit by the Medical Board appointed by the University.

Steps for Filling Application Form

Step 1: Candidate Registration:

2. Candidates should first register by clicking the “Register > Login > Pay > Fill Form” button for B.Sc. Nursing.

5. Upon successful completion of the registration form, the candidate will receive his/her Registration Id number on their registered mobile number and email address.
6. Information submitted at this stage will be auto filled in the Personal Information Section (Stage 1) of the application form
7. Primary Information submitted during registration cannot be changed or altered at any later stage

Step 2: Login & Fee Payment:

1. Once the candidate has successfully registered, they are required to login into the Application portal by clicking “Register > Login > Pay > Fill Form” button for B.Sc. Nursing
2. To login, the candidate will be required to submit their Unique Registration Id Number and Date of Birth to successfully log into the B.Sc. Nursing CNET 2024Applicant Dashboard. The Unique Registration ID Number and Date of Birth should match for a successful login
3. If a candidate forgets their Registration Id number, they can click on “Forgot Registration Id Number” to receive their Unique Registration Id number on their registered mobile number via a SMS/EMAIL
4. Once the candidate has successfully logged into the CNET 2024 Applicant Dashboard, they will have to click on “Pay Fee for B.Sc. Nursing” button to pay the mandatory application fee
5. On clicking the “Pay Fee for B.Sc. Nursing” button, the candidate will be redirected to an Online Payment Gateway to pay the Application Fee Online via a Debit Card / Credit Card/ Net Banking or UPI
6. If payment status is pending, the candidates can manually fetch the latest payment status by clicking on “Get Payment Status” button
7. In case of multiple/duplicate payments the eligible candidates will be refunded the amount in the bank account details provided for refund at the time of filling application form. The latest successful payment will be considered for filling the application form and any old payments will be refunded
8. Candidates will receive a payment receipt upon a successful payment confirmation from the bank
9. Once the payment is confirmed, the candidates will be able to see a “Fill Form” button to fill the application form

Step 3: Application Form Filling & Submission:

1. The application is a Multi-Step form that is only available once the payment has been processed
2. The candidate details are saved at each stage enabling the candidate to review, update or edit the application at anytime prior to final submission

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course (2 Years)

1. All admissions in Post Basic Nursing Course for the academic session 2024-25 will Only be done through this Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET)
2. Entrance Exam will be conducted in offline mode by black ball pen, provided at the centre
3. Application form should be filled through online mode only (No Application Form shall be received by post or any other means.)

1. Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary or Intermediate (12th Standard examination) or (10+2) or an equivalent exam recognized by the University for this purpose. Those who have done 10+1 in or before 1986 will be eligible for admission.
2. Obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council of Uttar Pradesh (UP Nurses and Midwives Council).
3. For candidates who have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council outside Uttar Pradesh state will be eligible if their institution/college is recognized by Indian Nursing Council
4. Colour blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
5. Candidate shall be medically fit.
6. Married candidates are also eligible for admission.
7. A male nurse, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with State Nurses Registration Council, shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any one of the following areas:

Reservation Policy: -

1. Reservation as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy and within the sanctioned number of seats by Indian Nursing Council (INC) and not above it.
2. Any change in reservation policy will be followed as per the Uttar Pradesh State Government directives.
3. Caste Certificates issued ONLY by the competent authority (Tehsildar) of Uttar Pradesh Government are acceptable.
4. EWS quota of 10% maybe admissible as per directives of the U.P. Government from time to time. A valid certificate issued by competent authority (Tehsildar) of Uttar Pradesh Government shall be required for counselling.
5. Valid OBC certificate issued on or after 1st April 2024 will be acceptable.

Registration Process Online Registration for counselling will be done by candidate through the official CNET 2024 website - www.abvmuup.edu.in. The registration process is as follows:

Eligible candidates will be able to register for counselling through their existing log-in (Same as used at the time of filling the Application form). To log into the portal candidates should visit www.abvmuup.edu.in and log in using their CNET 2024 Registration ID and DOB.

The candidate will have to deposit a. INR 500/- as Counselling Registration Fee online (Non-Refundable) and b. INR 5000/- as Counselling Security Fee Both fee will be deposited online through a single payment of INR 5500 (INR 500 + INR 5000).

UP ANM and GNM Admission

To initiate the application process, candidates are required to submit their applications online via the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Department of Medical Health And Family Welfare, accessible at http://dgmhup.gov.in . The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the 10th and 12th-grade examination, ensuring a fair and transparent selection process for admission to ANM and GNM Training Courses.
