Nemcare School and College of Nursing runs under NEMCARE Group of Institutions (NGI) is a leading educational organization in Assam, India. The objective of the B.Sc. Nursing Program at College of Nursing NEMCARE Foundation is to demonstrate competency in the knowledge and skills in providing comprehensive nursing care based on the problem-solving approach in the hospital and community.
The curriculum is designed to allow them to become self-sufficient, to cope up with the diverse healthcare settings. The College of Nursing would impart quality training to the students, to convert them into professionals, who would render excellent service in their practice and conduct research and develop models for healthcare delivery to meet the needs of the society.
B.Sc Nursing career options include employment in areas like hospitals, nursing homes, clinics and health departments, railways and defence etc.

1. The student must attain the minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission
2. The minimum educational requirement:
(a) Intermediate/ 10+2 (Arts/Science/Commerce) or its equivalent
(b) Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)
(c) Must be registered under respective nursing council & Midwifery (GNM)
3. Candidate shall have to be medically fit
4. Admission is open for both the genders
5. Students coming from other nationally shall have to conform all norms of GOI under the Foreign Nationals Act as a student
6. Admission is valid for one year only (i.e. yearly admission is required)

First come first serve basis is adopted by the authority of the university while providing the admission to the selected candidates. In case a deserving student is not able to take admission due to not availability of the seats in that case he/she can reserve the seat for the next session by depositing the prescribe fees in advance.

We recognize that nursing is an integral part of the health services of the country playing a very vital role in the curative, preventive and promotive aspects of health care in the community.
We believe that the basic course in nursing is a formal educational programme, which should prepare nurses of first level positions in nursing in both the hospital and community. It is the foundation on which the practice of nursing is built and on which further professional education depends.
