The “ North East Nursing College of Health Sciences” Lekhi Village, Arunachal Pradesh is the pioneer Nursing Institution in Arunachal Pradesh under the Abo-Tani Charitable society. The Institution has been established in 2014 under the permission of Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, Recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, and approved by Arunachal Pradesh Nursing Council, Naharlagun(A.P). And affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh (A.P). Well-furnished and well-ventilated class rooms with modern teaching aids viz. Projector, charts, models etc.

Laboratories:

• Nursing Foundation LaboratoryIt is set up of a small unit of hospital to practice all procedures with manikin, well equipped with all the necessary instruments and equipment.
• Community Health Nursing laboratory and field practice The laboratory is equipped with all necessary equipment. We have a tie up with community health centre, Doimukh to practice and provide care for people at home, school and industry.
• Pre-clinical Science Laboratory
• OBG and Pediatrics Laboratory
• Nutrition Laboratory
• Computer Laboratory

Clinical Facilities

The students shall be posted for clinical experience time to time in the following hospitals:

• R.K.Mission Hospital, Itanagar.
• Affiliated to GNRC, Guwahati for Cardiology & Neurology, Dr.B.Barooh Cancer Institute, Guwahati for Oncology and LGBRI, Tezpur for Mental Health Nursing.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. (N):-

• Must be a citizen of India
• Candidate should be age between 17 – 35 years as on 31st December 2023
• Age relaxation of 5 years for ST/SC candidates & 3 years for O.B.C. Candidates
• Educational qualifications: Must have passed 10+2/Intermediate/HS or equivalent Examination in Science with Biology, Chemistry and Physics subjects with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% to 40% for ST/SC/O.B.C. candidates) from any recognized Board/Council/University.
• Candidate must have passed English subject with minimum of 40 marks in 10+2 examination.
• Candidate must be physically and mentally fit at the time of admission and during the duration of the whole course.
• Married candidates are also eligible for admission.

Eligibility Criteria for Post Basic B.Sc. (N)

• Candidates should clear class 12th from recognized board preferably in the science stream
• Candidates should be registered as Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM)
• Candidate should posses a three-year diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
• Candidates who have completed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) can directly apply for Post Basic B.Sc. (N).
• Male candidates who have not done midwifery in GNM should possess a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council instead of Midwifery

Criteria & process for selection:-

Interested candidate for the course may obtain prospectus and application form from the office by paying Rs.1000/- being cost of prospectus. Candidate may also logon to our website: http://www.nenchs.com/ and get registered themselves by paying non-refundable registration fee of Rs.1000/. Admission will be made on the basis of merit based on selection test.
