The Pratiksha College Of Nursing, Guwahati, Assam is a Private College established under Pratiksha Educational Trust. The college has been recognized by Indian Nursing council (INC), Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ and Health Visitors’ Council (ANC) and approved by Govt of Assam, and is affiliated to Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS). 

• Library: A well equipped library with the latest books, journals are made available for the students to read and update themselves with the best in their fields. • Laboratory: The laboratories are well equipped with adequate number of scientific instrument so that each student can get full exposure & chance to handle them. Computer interference with related equipments are emphasized during the course.

STATEMENT OF COURSE

I.  General Nursing & Midwifery

II. The course duration is 3 years

III. Total seats 40nos.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Academic qualification:

•  10 + 2 or its equivalent with 40% aggregate marks 

•  10+2 vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

•  ANM training i.e. 10+1 ½ training should also have passed +2 or its equivalent.

•  5% relaxation in marks is permitted to SC/ST students.

Personal and Social fitness:

1. Age limit 17-35 years on 31st December of the year of Admission. For ANM/LHV there is no age bar.

2. Candidate should be medically fit. (The institute will conduct medical examination of candidates.)

RESERVATIONS:

1. Total seat capacity 40.

2. 3 seats will be reserved for each North Eastern States candidates sponsored by their government. 

3. 10% of seats will be reserved for the candidates from Assam.
