Eligibility criteria

GNM Nursing: For GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) course, candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board with English as a compulsory subject and secured a minimum of 40% aggregate marks. Preference may be given to candidates from the Science stream. Applicants should be between 17 and 35 years of age at the time of admission; however, age relaxation is applicable for ANM, SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates as per prevailing norms. Candidates must also be medically fit. Admission is generally based on merit or through state-level entrance examinations. Registered ANMs and candidates who have completed 10+2 in the vocational stream (Health Care Science) are also eligible to apply.
