However, he/she will not be allowed to leave the seat after the last date fixed by the Indian Nursing Council for admission.

Admission process for students allotted seats for the first time:- Students who will take admission for the first time on the allotted seat will also have to take the above mentioned action for admission.

Admission process for students allotted seats for the second time:- Students who are allotted a new seat in the second counselling round due to upgradation from their first-round admitted institute must first download and print their Allotment Letter from the official website of Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University, then personally visit their previously admitted institute to collect all original documents and obtain a college-level upgradation certificate issued by the Principal or competent authority. Allotment of course and college for admission to state quota seats of Nursing/Paramedical courses of Government/Private institutions affiliated to the University will be done through course-wise online counselling on the basis of merit of Uttarakhand Nursing/Paramedical Entrance Examination-2025. For admission in state quota seats of ANM / GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing / NPCC / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing and B.Sc. and M.Sc. Paramedical courses through state level counselling, the concerned candidate will be able to apply only for those course(s) for which he/she has appeared/passed the state level written entrance examination.

1st Round:

The terms and conditions for online counselling are as follows:-

The counselling process for admission to ANM, GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc. Nursing, NPCC, and B.Sc./M.Sc. Note: If the candidates registered in the first phase are not willing to participate in the second phase counselling process now or are satisfied with their previously admitted seat, then they are advised not to register again / do Choice Filling for the second phase counselling, so that this seat can be allotted to any other eligible interested candidate in the order of merit as per rules.

Application Process (Online basis only):

1. Registration amount for participating in the second stage counselling process will be deposited only through online system (Credit/Debit Card/Net banking).
2. To participate in the second round of counseling, all eligible candidates must re-register within the prescribed timeframe, fill out the online application form, provide all the required information, and complete the new choice filing and choice lock. Otherwise, they will not be considered eligible for seat allocation by the Counseling Board in the second round of counseling.
3. The choices previously entered by a candidate in the first stage will be automatically cancelled. Therefore, all eligible candidates interested in participating in the second stage of counseling are advised to complete the above-mentioned process within the timeframe set for the second stage.
4. After completing the application form, the candidate must take a printout and keep it safely. Any future queries, questions, or issues related to the application will be resolved by the Counseling Board based on this printout.
5. Candidates may make desired changes within the timeframe specified in the counseling process schedule. Candidates must then lock their choices. No changes will be made at any stage after the application process is complete.
6. If the choice is not locked after filling by the candidate while filling the online application form, then the choice filled by the candidate will be automatically locked after the time period prescribed by the online system and it will be considered/understood that the candidate has filled the same choice for seat allotment.
7. In the second phase, seat allotment will be done by the Counselling Board to the registered candidates on the basis of their merit, eligibility and choices filled as per the rules/procedures prescribed above.

Candidates who did not register in the first or second rounds but want to take part in the third round of seat allotment may also participate by completing the required registration process and fulfilling the prescribed conditions within the specified timeline.

1. Registration fees for participation in the third round of counseling will be submitted online only (Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking). Candidates who have already registered for previous counseling rounds are also eligible to participate in the third round.
2. Candidates who have deposited the registration fee in the first/second round of counselling, if they wish to participate in the third round of counselling, they will be required to go to the university website www.hnbumu.ac.in and apply online through their registered ID and fill in new choices. Such candidates will not be required to pay the registration fee again.
3. To participate in the third round of counselling, it will be mandatory for every eligible candidate to complete all the necessary details after registering within the stipulated time period and submit a new choice. Otherwise, they will not be considered eligible for seat allocation by the Counselling Board in the third round of counselling. The choice filling done by the candidate in the previous stages will automatically be considered cancelled. Therefore, to participate in the third round of counselling, every eligible candidate interested in completing the above mentioned process within the stipulated time period for the third round.
4. If any interested and eligible candidate wishes to make any changes (amendments) in the information filled in the online application form and the choice filling filled for the third round, then the candidate will have to make the same during the prescribed dates of registration for the third counselling round. For amendments, Rs. It is mandatory to deposit ₹200/- (Rupees two hundred) as the revision registration fee through online mode. To make any revision (choice filling only), candidates must pay ₹200/- (Rupees two hundred) each time and complete the form within the prescribed registration dates. After each revision, the previously submitted application will automatically be cancelled. Applications for any revision by candidates via email/telephone will not be accepted.
5. After completing the application form, the candidate must take a printout and keep it safely. Any future queries, questions, or issues related to the application will be resolved by the Counseling Board based on this printout.
6. After entering choices in the online application form, candidates must first save them. If desired, candidates can make changes to these choices within the timeframe set for registration by the counseling schedule. Candidates must then submit these saved choices. However, after submitting choices, candidates can make changes only after depositing the revision fee (as per point 5) within the prescribed timeframe.
7. If the candidate does not SAVE the choice filling and then SUBMIT while filling the online application form, then the choice filled by the candidate will be automatically SUBMITTED by the online system after the stipulated time period and it will be considered that this is the choice filled by the candidate for seat allocation. However, if the candidate does not SAVE the choice filling while filling the YERV online application form, then the candidate will not be considered eligible for the third stage seat allocation. Therefore, candidates are advised to SAVE and SUBMIT their choices within the stipulated time period.
8. In the third phase, seat allotment will be done by the Counselling Board to the registered candidates on the basis of their merit, eligibility and choices filled as per the rules/procedures prescribed above.

Such candidates will be required to pay the registration fee again.
4. To participate in the fourth round of counseling, every interested eligible candidate must register within the stipulated time period and then fill in the online application form with all the required information and submit a new choice. Otherwise, they will not be considered eligible for seat allocation by the Counseling Board in the fourth round of counseling. The choice fillings filled by the candidates in the previous stages will automatically be considered canceled. Therefore, to participate in the fourth round of counseling, every interested eligible candidate is advised to complete the above-mentioned process within the stipulated time period for the fourth round.
