
Al-Ameen Fathima School of Nursing, Bijapur was established in 1998 by the Al-Ameen Charitable Fund Trust, Bangalore, is located in Bijapur District, Karnataka. It is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC). The college is equipped with modern infrastructure, including well-furnished classrooms, internet facilities, a state-of-the-art computer lab, and a library with an extensive collection of books and journals. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). It is held for students seeking admission to undergraduate courses such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Nursing and other professional programs in colleges across Karnataka. KCET provides eligible candidates with a fair and transparent pathway to secure seats in government and private institutions within the state.
As per Government Order No. MED 51 RGU 2023 dated 13-04-2023, candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) must register for CET-2025 through the KEA online portal and appear for the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by KEA in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually in II PUC / 12th Standard (10+2). A minimum of 45% aggregate marks in PCB is required. Candidates belonging to Karnataka SC/ST/OBC categories are eligible with 40% aggregate marks in PCB. This relaxation applies only to Karnataka candidates.
Important Note: Non-Karnataka candidates are not eligible for reservation and are also not eligible for Government quota seats in B.Sc. (Nursing) admissions through KEA.
| The non-Karnataka candidates who are registering for B.Sc. (Nursing) courses will be assigned clause ‘y’ in the application form. Further they are not eligible for any other UGCET courses other than B.Sc. (Nursing). |
