Amrutha College Of Nursing

Amrutha College of Nursing, affiliated with DR. NTR University of Health Sciences, was founded with the invaluable guidance of the late Mr. Venkateswara Sahu, whose vision and leadership have been pivotal in shaping the institution. The Amrutha Educational Society, registered under No. 604/2017, was established by nine members of the same family and received the blessings of the late Mr. Srimannarayana, a retired Assistant Engineer from the Andhra Pradesh Government, who served as the Chairman of the educational institutions. Registered on 14th September 2017, the society received government permission to establish nursing colleges shortly thereafter. Unfortunately, Mr. Srimannarayana passed away on 6th March 2018, but his legacy endures. The college is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a well-stocked library, and comfortable hostel facilities, providing students with a conducive environment for academic excellence and practical training in healthcare.

B.Sc Nursing

Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada provides guidelines for admission into the 4-year BSc Nursing program under the Competent Authority Quota. Admissions are based on AP EAPCET-2024 ranks. Candidates must follow the online application process and stay updated via https://drntr.uhsap.in for notifications and schedules.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidates must meet the AP EAPCET-2024 cut-off percentile as per Indian Nursing Council regulations for B.Sc. Nursing admission. The qualifying percentile is 50% (OC), 40% (SC/ST/BC/PwD), and 45% (OC-PwD). Applicants must be Indian Nationals, PIOs, or OCIs and fulfill Andhra Pradesh's residency requirements. Both male and female candidates are eligible, with specific colleges admitting males as per G.O.Ms.No.306, HM&FW (K2) Dept., 2006.

Candidates must be 17 years old by 31.12.2024, with no upper age limit. They must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board or Intermediate Vocational with a Bridge Course. OC candidates need 45% in Science subjects, while SC/ST/BC candidates need 40%. English is mandatory. Students must be medically fit.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS IN RESPECT OF CANDIDATES WHOSE DOMICILE OF ANDHRA PRADESH / TELANGANA

The candidate shall satisfy Local / Non-local status as per G.O.P.No.646, Education (W1) Dept., dated 10-07-1979 and Presidential order. The procedure indicated in the above G.O. for Selection of candidates as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2) Dept., dated 18-05-2009 shall be followed.

The Non-local candidates are eligible for 15% Unreserved seats only. The Local candidates are eligible for both 15% unreserved seats and 85% local area seats.

The verification fee and registration fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a future date. Therefore, candidates are advised to check eligibility conditions thoroughly before applying for Competent Authority seats.

RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES :-

Admission to 85% of the available seats shall be reserved in favor of the Local 646, Edu. (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.

State-wide colleges:

Admission into State-wide college, the 36% of OU Region seats shall be distributed among Andhra & SVU Regions as per Merit.

• Fee for OC candidates: ₹2360 (₹2000 + GST ₹360) + Bank charges extra.
• Fee for BC/SC/ST candidates: ₹1888 (₹1600 + GST ₹288) + Bank charges extra.
• Note: The fee is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted for other courses.
