
Gnm Nursing Training School,Jhargram District Hospital Campus, was established in 2017, is located within the Jhargram District Hospital Campus in Jhargram, West Bengal. The institution offers a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma program with an annual intake of 90 students and is affiliated with the West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC) and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). All questions will be of Multiple- Choice Question (MCQ) type, with four answer options. Time for the paper is 1½ hours. The questions will be in both English and Bengali language (except Basic English and Logical Reasoning).
Syllabus: Life Science, Physical Science, Mathematics will be based on 10th standard syllabi of the recognized Board/Councils in India and Basic English, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning will be equivalent to 12th standard curriculum.
Counselling/seat allotment and provisional admission: A separate notification detailing the counselling, seat allotment, and admission procedure will be published on www.wbjeeb.in and www.wbjeeb.nic.in shortly after the declaration of results. The course-wise and institute-wise seat availability, as provided by the Competent Authorities, will also be published prior to the commencement of counselling and seat allotment.
Procedure for submission of application form, payment of examination fees.
Ranking Methodology and Publication of Merit Lists : WBJEEB shall prepare merit ranks based on candidates’ performance in the common entrance test, and each candidate will be able to view and download his/her individual Rank Card containing the score and rank. To maintain confidentiality, WBJEEB will not publish any public rank or score list. Separate General Merit Ranks (GMR) shall be prepared for ANM(R) and GNM, with ranking done in descending order of marks obtained, and tie cases resolved as per the tie-breaking rules specified in Section 2.7. In addition to the GMR, category-wise merit positions such as SC, ST, OBC-Category-A (More Backward), OBC-Category-B (Backward), PwD, EWS, Orphan, CD, etc., shall be indicated wherever applicable. Counselling, seat allotment, and admission shall be conducted strictly on the basis of GMR only, and not on category ranks, which are provided solely for informational purposes. Category ranks are generated based on the category details declared by candidates during online application and are subject to verification of original documents by the allotted institutes at the time of counselling/admission; if any claim is found invalid during verification, the candidate’s category rank shall be cancelled, corrected, or modified accordingly, which may render the candidate ineligible for certain or all seats/courses, and such candidate shall be treated as a General Category candidate in subsequent counselling rounds, if any, without affecting the category ranks of other candidates.
Document verification: Admit cards and rank cards are issued based on the information provided by the candidate, and all verifications are conducted by the allotted institute during and after counselling/admission. Candidates should not assume that the personal information shown in the admit card has been accepted or approved by the Board. If, during verification, any candidate’s claim is found to be invalid, their category rank may be cancelled, corrected, or modified, which could render them ineligible for some or all seats/courses, and they may be considered under the General Category in subsequent rounds of counselling, if applicable. Therefore, securing a rank does not confer any right or guarantee of admission unless all eligibility criteria are duly met.
