Mamata College of Nursing is situated in Khammam in the Telangana. Mamata Educational Society has started Mamata College of Nursing in 2002. It is recognized by the Telangana Nurses and Midwives Council and by the Indian Nursing Council. This College is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS). During the period of training nursing students are given practical instructions by senior ward staff. Keeping in view of growing global demand for B.Sc. Nursing candidates, Mamata intends to have collaboration with USA, UK, Australia, Canada and Middle East Countries for providing man power from our Nursing College. Residential facilities for the student nurses as well as the nursing staff are provided with all the essential amenities within the campus. The students get hands on training in the 840 bed Mamata General Hospital which is the teaching hospital of Mamata Medical College. Students share all common facilities of medical college departments.

33 1/3% of seats are guaranteed for women candidates in each category i.e., Open category, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribe, Backward Classes Group A, B, C, D and E. This regulation of guarantee shall not be applicable if women candidates selected on merit in each category form 33 1/3% or more of the seats therein. When the number of women candidates falls short of this percentage, it would be made up by replacing the last selected male candidates by women candidates in that category
RESERVATION UNDER PWD CATEGORY: 5% of total seats in each categories shall be reserved for the Persons With Disabilities (PWD) i.e., OC, SC, ST, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D and BC-E categories as per Government of India guidelines. The candidate seeking the benefit of reservation should present him/herself before a Medical Board constituted by the University, comprising professors from Government Medical colleges from relevant specialties. The decision of the Medical Board constituted by the University is final.
85% of the seats shall be reserved for local candidates and 15% shall be unreserved seats

The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required for through computer or Laptop with data connection. The online application form can be filled through any computer with internet connection or Laptop. The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates, Scanned Photo and Signature in the jpg/.gif format separately (as shown below) and ready to enter his/her correct data and upload the photo, signature and original certificates, after the payment of application fee through Online.
Registration and Processing Fee:
The Registration and Processing fee Rs.2500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC & BC candidates and Rs.2000/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST candidates shall be paid online through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.**
**Registration and Processing fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.
Categorization of seats:
Application forms online are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into MSc (Nursing) courses for the academic year in Colleges affiliated to KNRHUS (KALOJI NARAYANA RAO UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES), Telangana State, Warangal based on merit in the qualifying examination B.Sc., (N) 4YDC / Post BSC (N) 2YDC Course under Competent Authority Quota.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
Candidates should have passed B.Sc., (N) 4YDC / Post BSC (N) 2YDC) degree from an Institution, which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council with a minimum of 55% of aggregate marks for OC and BC Category Candidates. SC / ST Candidates should secure a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks.
AGE: Both the service and Non-service candidates should not have completed 45 years of age as of 31st December 2019. For candidates belonging to SC / ST, the maximum age limit shall be 48 years
