(GNM) General Nursing And Midwifery

General Nursing and midwifery is a 3 yr diploma program. The aims of the diploma in GNM is to prepare nurses with a sound educational program in nursing to enable them to function as efficient members of the health team, for the help in the prevention of disease & promotion of health

The aim of this nursing course is to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services, who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of individuals in pursuit of health.
