Eligibility: A candidate must have passed the Senior Secondary School Certificate examination (Science- Medical group) conducted by a statutory Board at the end of 12 years study under 10+2 pattern of the Secondary Education in all the compulsory subjects and the optional subjects of the Medical group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) or any other examination recognized by the RUHS as equivalent to above stated qualification on the last date of submission of application form with a minimum of forty five percent (45%) marks and forty percent (40%) for natural born scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the qualifying examination and with English as a compulsory subject in class 10+2.
Age Limit: A candidate must have completed the age of 17 years before 31st December, 2025 and there is no upper age limit for admission to Bachelor of Science Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) course

DOMICILE CRITERIA: Admission to the course is open to all residents of India. However, preference will be given to residents of State of Rajasthan.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Before filling the online application form, candidates are advised to carefully read the information brochure and detailed instructions to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria and all other admission requirements. Applicants must exercise utmost care while completing the online application, as any discrepancy detected during scrutiny may lead to rejection of candidature at any stage of the admission process, even after final admission. In case a candidate submits more than one online application, only the last successfully submitted application will be considered for processing, and any application fee paid multiple times shall be forfeited. Candidates should strictly follow the steps outlined in the “Instructions to Fill the Online Application Form” available on the RUHS website (www.ruhsraj.org) and must securely note and preserve their login ID and password for future use.

CHOICE FILLING: After the declaration of the RUHS CUET 2025 results, eligible candidates will be permitted to participate in the online counselling process. Candidates must submit their preferences for courses and colleges in order of priority through the online portal. Detailed guidelines regarding choice filling and online payment of the counselling fee will be published on the RUHS website in due course.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE: Admissions shall be made strictly in accordance with the merit list prepared on the basis of RUHS CUET-2025 scores and the preferences (choices/options) filled online by the candidates. Therefore, candidates are advised to exercise their options with utmost care. Applicants should also regularly visit the RUHS website (www.ruhsraj.org) for the latest updates and notifications related to the admission process.
Important note: If at any stage, it is found that a non-eligible candidate is admitted to a course, then the admission of such a candidate will be cancelled on such detection. Apenal action may also be initiated against such candidate.
JOINING AT ALLOTTED COLLEGE AND DEPOSITING OF FEES AND OTHER DOCUMENTS: At the time of reporting to the allotted college, candidates must carry a printout of the allotment letter and deposit the prescribed fee along with their original documents and one set of attested photocopies of all required certificates. The allotted colleges will receive the list of candidates and shall verify the credentials of the reporting candidates strictly as per the allotment list by checking the originals of the submitted documents. Candidates who fail to report or join the allotted college in Round 1 will not be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds of online counselling. Further, as per Government of Rajasthan letter No. P7(3) Nursing/DME/2014 dated 13.10.2020, candidates allotted seats in Government and Government self-financed colleges are required to submit a bond in the prescribed proforma for an amount of ₹50,000; if a candidate discontinues the course after the second round of counselling and before completion of the course for any reason, a penalty of ₹50,000 shall be payable, as detailed in Appendix A (Bond Proforma).
Eligibility Criteria:
GNM Nursing: The GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course, regulated by the Indian Nursing Council, requires candidates to have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks, and English must be a compulsory subject. Students from Science (PCB) are generally preferred, but Arts and Commerce students are also eligible in many states. The minimum age for admission is 17 years as of 31st December of the admission year, and the maximum age is usually 35 years, with relaxation for reserved categories as per government rules. Candidates must also be medically fit and may need to provide a medical fitness certificate. Admission is typically based on merit in the 12th examination or through a state-level entrance exam, depending on the state guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria: Post Basic B. Sc Nursing at RUHS, a candidate must have completed General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent nursing diploma from a recognized institute and must be registered as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM) with the respective State Nursing Registration Council. There is no upper age limit for admission, and both male and female candidates can apply. Candidates must also be medically fit and usually need to appear in the RUHS entrance exam for Post Basic B. Sc Nursing, with admission based on the merit list and counselling process.
Eligibility Criteria: M. Sc Nursing at Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, a candidate must have completed B. Sc Nursing (Basic/T&R), B. Sc Nursing (Hons), or Post-Basic B. Sc Nursing from RUHS or any other recognized university/institution with minimum aggregate marks (usually around 55%) as per the latest notification. The candidate must be a registered nurse and registered midwife (RN/RM) with the respective State Nursing Registration Council, and the nursing programme must be recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. Additionally, the candidate should have completed at least one year of work experience after passing B. Sc Nursing or Post-Basic B. Sc Nursing by the application deadline. There is no upper age limit for admission to the M. Sc Nursing course, and admission is generally through the RUHS nursing entrance examination and counselling process.
