Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra has a NABL accredited Pathology Section and is the first hospital in Kolkata to obtain ISO 9001-2008. It was certified by Bureau Veritas. EEDF (Economic Entrepreneurship Development Foundation) Health Centre was founded in February 1971 by the late Dr. S.C. Dutt, the founder Chairman & Managing Director of the DC group of companies. Dr. Dutt was the first one to introduce treatment under one ceiling in Kolkata, West Bengal. His vision was to provide health care services to the middle & lower middle class sections of society and to the employees of DC group at an affordable rate in a comfortable environment. The Health Centre began by rendering services from 3 rented houses in Jodhpur Park and in a mobile medical van where doctors and nurses were present to take care of the patients. In 1991, it moved to a new building and was named ‘Sri Aurobindo Seva Kendra’.

ANM(R) & GNM will conduct counseling for ANM and GNM admission in West Bengal

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will conduct OMR based Common Entrance Examination– ANM(R) & GNM-2024 for admission in various Govt./ Pvt./ Self-financed institutes in the State of West Bengal for the academic session of 2024-25, for two (2) years’ Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery (Revised)course and three (3) years’ General Nursing & Midwifery course in.

Eligibility criteria:-

Students must be an Indian citizen and a domicile of West Bengal. They must have passed or be appearing for the Class 12 examination in the (10+2) system in 2024. Additionally, the applicant must be at least 17 years old as of July 31, 2024, meaning they should have been born on or before July 31, 2007.

Pattern of Question Paper (ANM(R) & GNM-2024)

The question paper consists of multiple sections with different subjects. The marking pattern is as follows:

All questions will be of Multiple- Choice Question (MCQ) type, with four answer options. Time for the paper is 1½ hours. The questions will be in both English and Bengali language (except Basic English and Logical Reasoning). Syllabus: Life Science, Physical Science, Mathematics will be based on 10th standard syllabi of the recognised Board/Councils in India and Basic English, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning will be equivalent to 12th standard curriculum.

Procedure for submission of application form payment of examination fees for ANM & GNM (ANM(R) & GNM-2024)

Registration:

a) The candidate will enter personal details such as-name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, identification type and number, present and permanent address, mobile number, email ID etc.
b) Candidates must be careful while entering name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender and domicile. This information cannot be changed/edited/modified under any circumstances.
c) Then the candidate has to create password and submit the registration.
d) An application number will be generated and will appear on the screen. Also, SMS/email will be sent to the registered mobile no./ email ID of the candidate.
e) If the candidate forgets the password, he/she has to recover it through “Forgot Password” option. There is no other way to recover the password.
f) It is not possible for any person/agency to change/edit/input any information without knowing the password. Hence candidates must not share their password with anybody. The Board will not be responsible for any change resulting from sharing/ divulging of the password.

Application Process

  • Fill in details such as domicile, category, PwD status, family income, religion, nationality, and academic qualifications.
  • Select four preferred examination zones and submit the application.

Uploading of Images

  • Upload JPG/JPEG images of a recent color photograph (10-200 KB) and signature (4-30 KB) in one go.

Payment of Examination Fees

  • Pay online via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, QR Code, or UPI.
  • Fee: ₹300 for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS/Orphan candidates, ₹400 for others (+bank charges).
  • Non-refundable under any circumstances.
